The biggest cause of depression?

There is no single cause depression, it can occur for a variety of reasons and it has many different triggers. For some people an upsetting or stressful rather, there are many possible causes of depression,

including faulty mood regulation by the brain, genetic vulnerability and stressful life events. Abuse, physical, sexual or emotional abuse can make you more vulnerable to depression later in life.

People talks this thing about depression:

- Grief, trauma, guilt, loneliness, abuse. I think it is a combination of things that build up not just one thing

- Of all things. I think it is failing yourself, failing yourself multiple times is draining and brings self doubt

- Chemical imbalance, money, support, overwhelming feeling of failure. The list goes on I am afraid

- Trauma, abuse, chemical imbalance, grieving and my ex

- Overthinking and being alone

- Nutrition/gut imbalance/ deficiency. You have asked for the number 1 but there is no number 1 thing. It is multi faceted, complex and different for everyone

- Lack of resources and support

- So many cause depression, be ignored by family, verbal abuse, fear of emotional, loneliness, lack of support, insecurity, lack of money, grief loss of love one. I know I been there. Is very hard and ugly

- Form me it is STRESS because of performance (not able to hit the target, trying to be productive but lack of energy to do so), lack of money, unpaid debts, sadness, worries about future events, disappointments

because of my own expectations, most of all when I miss my son but I can’t hug him because her is far away. And a lot more, that is why depression is not easy to handle especially

It is ok to play with those blocks now and then but don’t stay here. There are so many things, people and places to be grateful for. Those blocks turn into stepping stones

- Overthinking and emotionally drained

- Wanting to change something or an event in your life. That can not be changed. Not talking about traumatic issues

- Burn out from overworking, stress, uncertainty, sleep deprivation, diet, lack of support system and other things. Rooting for anyone going through depression better health and happiness

Stay silent and do not really talk about what us going on it is usually more then one thing

- Judging yourself by standards set by others. Break free and set your own achievable goals
